BunnyBates

Bunny Bates was born in London, England and studied at the Slade School of Fine Arts, London University. After emigrating to Canada, she lived in New Brunswick and raised three children. In 1974 she was awarded a Canada Council Exploration Grant for sculpture. After a move to Belleville, she taught drawing, design, and art history at the Ontario Business College. Her works have been shown in many juried exhibitions and public galleries in the Maritimes and Ontario. She now devotes her full time to painting and sculpture.
